Know the might of legend!
((Oh wow.))

((The official Castlevania page on Facebook used an meme image I made in like five minutes. I’m not sure if I should be flattered or insulted.))

“Well hello, what brings you here?” Maria asked. The young blonde got a good look at him, going up and down, and noticed some things. The man before him had obviously been through many a battle, at least going by the muscles and scars that could be seen on his body; Definitely a warrior. Also, the presence of that whip sort of gave everything away.

“So, I take it you’re a member of the Belmont clan?” She asked with a small smile.

“Greetings M’lady.” Simon bowed to the young woman. Despite her age, he sensed great power radiating from her But it was odd. While it was clearly not evil, it was vastly different than what he had felt from his ancestors and descendents. “You are correct. I am Simon Belmont. And who are you?”

Maria did a small curtsy in response to Simon’s bow. “My name is Maria Renard. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. You’re actually the third Belmont I’ve met.” She said. Maybe he was technically the fourth, but he wasn’t really sure how to classify that whole predicament.

“Ah.” said Simon. “I have heard of you. My descendant, Richter speaks most highly of you. He claims you aided him in the destruction of Dracula one hundred years after my tale.”  He paused. “I am also not surprised that I am the third of my clan you have met. This odd time rift has thrown people from all periods into this one. While it is truly an honor to meet everyone I have, I cannot help but feel as if it is leading into something larger…”

“Then he does for me as I would do for him.” Maria smiled. Truly, she was flattered by the way Richter spoke of her.

This time rift business made her grow more and more curious, especially now. Why WAS she brought back, anyway? She and every other Belmont? “I can’t begin to fathom why this has occurred. I can only hope that this has all been caused by a force with good intentions. It would seem that way at least, but I don’t know.”

"I know not as well. Things have been peaceful so far, but I would be a fool to let my guard down." Simon said, a hardened frown crossing his face.  "A true hunter is never out of danger, as the creatures of the night will never truly vanish. We can only hold them, never defeat them."

((I regrettably must go on hiatus a bit))

((Just like last time, am I really busy right now. I’ll see if I can come back on when I can, and I apologize to everyone for being so unreliable. This won’t be as long as my previous one though.))

“My home is not far from here.” Simon gestured to a small house a short distance from the church. “I can recuperate there. Though I do worry what Serena’s reaction will be to all this…”

((Serena is what I’ve heard Simon’s bride’s name is in Haunted Castle, sooooo))

“Serena? Oh, you are a married man too, then” He said, smiling as he began to slowly walk towards the house; as to not stress out Simon anymore. “If she is anything as my Sypha, she will understand you are a Belmont, and that you were born to do this kind of thing… even if you DO end up with life scars on your body that to this day still burn freshly.”

((No worries, that was indeed her name. Even if she’s now non-canon, Simon very well deserves a wife by this point.))

"Truly." Simon said. "She has been most understanding, and she will be happy to see me return." AS they approached Simon’s house, he broke off from his ancestor’s grip. ‘Thank you for the assistance, and the best of luck in your duties."

Trevor turned to the call, to see his descendant Simon. “Simon, it is wonderful to see you again!” He let out, putting away his whip and feeling proud of him. “And what a nice meeting, how have you been?” He asked before noticing how feint Simon looked, as if he could pass out at any moment. “You certainly look like you’ve been through a bit of trouble, are you alright?” He then placed one of Simons arms over his shoulder to support him.

“Many thanks.” Simon said gratefully, propping himself up with Trevor’s help. “You could say I have been through a bit of trouble…I had heard a rumor of a powerful vampire far out in the country. Despite our…truce with Dracula, I am still a vampire hunter. All of them must be destroyed.” Simon paused briefly and continued. “I was played as a fool. There was no vampire. Upon entering what I had heard was it’s lair, I was ambushed by a small army of demons. It would appear that with Dracula not commanding his army as usual, some of them have defected. This was an act of revenge for slaying their comrades on my first assault through the demon castle. I was able to fight them off, but not without sustaining the injuries you see. I considered resting, and letting my wounds heal before coming back, but I suspected there were more creatures lurking there, to finish me off.” Ending his lengthy tale, Simon’s expression turned very ugly. “Of course it would seem that Dracula did not have anything to do with this, but I am not so sure…”

Trevor analyzed the situation, his expression turning angrier. “The nerve of those foul beasts. I am not at all surprised by their actions.” He fully understood why Simon would follow the supposed Vampire; for Trevor as well hunted the night to protect his own village. “Dracula has been much too quiet lately… do you believe this is his breaking point?” The Vampire King always had a diabolical scheme lurking in the shadows, similar to his bats; yet, Dracula loved his wife very much, Trevor related to that with his Sypha. He shook his head, “Regardless, come, we must nurse you back to health, even us Belmont’s need help at times. Trust me, I know this.” He looked around, for a place to take his young Simon to.

((I have this silly Headcanon that Simon and Trevor are like silly bff’s, i always saw the two as being very very closely related (Probably because of them being the first 2 Belmont’s in existance) and could imagine them walk around together laughing and exploring stuffs together.

Yea, you saw this coming a mile away

Am i banned yet from living?))

((Nah, I see it similarly. Especially because of Simon’s Judgment fanboying.))

On the other side of Town, another Belmont was walking through the dark forest. Wiping the hair out of his eyes, he was happy to exit the almost-endless forest behind him, and walked confidently forward, waving at a few villagers, and began to walk around, making sure that everything was in order.

Simon grimaced as his injured leg buckled under an awkward step. “I cannot begin my rest soon enough…” he muttered to himself. Upon reaching the street to where his house lay, he spotted a familiar figure. “Trevor!” he called, rushing over towards his ancestor. Despite having known his legendary forefather for many months (He privately thanked Aeon for this), he could not help but feel a little awed every time he saw him.
